Subaru stared at the two unconscious people for a moment, his eyes lingering on the one with fucking flamethrowers for arms. Then he turned to his pseudo-daughter-spirit.
There was only one conclusion here.
“...Beako,” he said slowly, “I think we’ve been isekai-ed.”
Beako did not look enlightened at all. “What does that even mean, I suppose—”

He had started the day with shaking hands, cold sweat, and the feeling that something was wrong. The sun was too bright, the voices too loud, and his movements too slow. His tasks felt more debilitating than usual, leaving him to trip up and break a vase or prick his fingers on a thorn.
He thought he could push through it. Subaru always somehow managed to make it through the day. But, it was clear to him now that today was not the case.

In the beginning, he liked being Natsuki Kenichi's son. As time went by, he thought it was a curse.
A horrible curse that was destroying Subaru and giving Kenichi a child undeserving of his love. A child that was so pathetic he couldn't have possibly inherited the blood of someone as great as him.
He was a black stain on his family and an unfit member of society, who had rejected him multiple times. Please reject him too, Natsuki household, so he can finally give up and rest.
