Summary
Yelena Belova finds she does the same thing over and over again. She stays home alone, thinks about Natasha and most importantly, drinks heavily. Most of the time, she does all three at once. She's always been a multitasker like that.
But tonight she's at a karaoke bar. She's not alone (the bar is crowded and reeks of alcohol consumption and e-cigarettes), she isn't thinking about Natasha (it's hard to when the girl on the stage is singing like a siren), but she sure as hell is drinking.
And maybe that's what makes her seek out Kate.

“Tell me — tell me everything. Did you yell at your parents yet? Is El Paso just like you remembered it? Did you hug Chris?”
Eddie takes a measured sip of tea. “Not yet, kind of but not really, and yes.”
Buck hums. Eddie imagines him sitting at his kitchen island or sprawled out on the couch in the loft. Hugging him goodbye two days ago felt so final, but now they’re talking just like they would any other night, never mind the 800 miles between them.
“Does he seem okay?” Buck asks. “Did he storm off?”
Yeah, this is normal. Buck asking the important questions, acting as a sounding board for Eddie, being a Christopher Diaz subject-matter expert. Eddie exhales and smiles a little for the first time since he left his parents’ house.
“He seems like he doesn’t know what to do with me,” he answers honestly. “I think … I think it’s good I came.”—-
