Summary
Hanahaki is a rare disease that affects people who are suffering from unrequited love exclusively. The flowers differ from person to person - the most common flowers are anemone - but the progression of the disease is universal. First the flowers bloom in the victim’s lungs. Next, the flowers grow further, making breathing difficult and coughing more common. In the third stage, approximately two months in, vines begin to grow from the flowers and worm their way into the lungs’ walls. In the final stage, thin vines find their way to the victim’s mouth. If the victim doesn’t die of asphyxiation, they die of being unable to consume food and water. IVs have mixed results in providing the necessary nutrients. The only known cure is the unrequited love becoming requited.

Summary
Demons weren’t supposed to be able to love. It was a defining feature. Demons couldn’t love, just as angels had to love. Once an angel Falls, they’re incapable of sensing the love others exude. Crowley knew this, and yet he still felt love. Felt loved.
Angels were, technically, not able to fall in love. They loved all of God’s creations, of course, but that was an all-encompassing thing. Falling in love was a form of favoring one creation. It wasn’t allowed. Aziraphale knew this.

Summary
"You definitely didn’t plan on falling in love with a demon when you first used the ouija board.
Who would, anyway? It was supposed to be harmless fun - it wasn’t even a real ouija board, just some stupid app. You were bored, you got some app for a spook - if that - and then it felt like it was genuinely talking to you."
