Summary
"I," Lloyd declares, slapping the royal tax form down onto his desk, "am going to get married."
"Are you?" Javier, standing at parade rest by the window and looking, as usual, vaguely bored and deeply unimpressed with Lloyd's shenanigans, raises one delicate brow. "Your blind, pointless, utterly unrealistic optimism is truly inspiring, my Lord. Good luck."
Or: Lloyd's eager to take advantage of reduced tax rates for wedded couples, and makes it know that he's in the market for a spouse of convenience. Javier, his trusty knight and newly appointed Fronteran marriage broker, will surely find him a suitable candidate... any... day... now.......

Summary
The house had yellow walls and pale wood trim in all the rooms. The floors were linoleum, except the bathroom and the kitchen which had tile. Juwon cleaned the bathroom sink and the mirror every day with wipes, even though Dongsik didn’t leave much to clean. He only shaved every other day at most, and would rub raspily at his chin when his stubble got too long. Juwon would have hated the sound if it was anyone else. Instead he found the soft scratchy noise inoffensive, like the whir of wheels on an exercise bike.
Juwon moves in unannounced.

Summary
The wind must have announced his presence, must have alerted her most loyal guardian, for he hasn’t even lifted his hand to knock when the door swings open and there he stands. Hands in pockets, hip slightly cocked, the waves of jet black hair closer to a more familiar length. But it’s the twinkle in those curving eyes that feels the most surreal, a gut punch into a past that feels a lifetime ago from now, on the porch of Dong-sik’s old family home.
“It’s been a while, Inspector Han.”
Joo-won fights a grimace, looks up. “I need your help.”
