The kitchens always held other agents, even in the dead of night. She didn't want to face them. Didn't want to see their sneers and hear their snarky comments. Instead, she looked up at the sky, feeling the breeze on her face. Going outside alone had been a privilege in the Red Room. Here, it wasn't a privilege she intended to waste.
Her peace was to be short lived, apparently, as Barton rushed to her side, clearly worried.

Nat smiled back at him, a mischievous glint in her eyes. “I can neither confirm, nor deny.” She reached into the jar with her free hand and held it out in offering. “Cookie for your thoughts?”
