Summary
Oikawa visits Iwaizumi in California. They end up sleeping together which would be fine if Oikawa wasn't completely in love with him and Iwaizumi wasn't some sort of casual sex aficionado.
There was a term that Oikawa had learned and liked in his freshman year of college. Cost benefit analysis. Everything had a cost and a benefit to analyze. Here, he was benefitting because Iwaizumi was going to make him feel the best he had ever felt; the evidence was there as Iwaizumi pressed into him, inching slowly, every moment white-hot and sparkling inside of him. He was benefitting because this was a taste of everything he had ever wanted, since forever. The cost was that it was going to crush his heart and obliterate him completely.
He should close his eyes, turn his face away, disappear, or something. Instead, he let Iwaizumi see him fall apart.

Like, he’s actually fucking laughing, not the fake laughs he forces out to make other people more comfortable. In fact, he’s laughing so hard, he looks like he might cry, and Hayden would be delighted by the sight of it if he weren’t so fucking concerned. Shane Hollander doesn’t laugh at parties. Shane Hollander barely laughs when he’s actually happy, and he’s never happy at parties. So what gives?

Tooru faltered, opening his mouth and closing it several times before settling on saying, "Hajime...I-"
"Just answer 'yes' or 'no'. Is volleyball more important to you than our relationship?" Hajime's voice didn't crack, but he could feel his heart jump into his throat, choking him with a terrible anticipation. He felt like he was being kicked in the stomach by his own nerves as he awaited an answer.
Tooru appeared to have no answer to give.

Shouto tilts his head like a confused puppy. “I’m with Izuku. Why would I need to notice anybody else?”
Uraraka throws up her hands in exasperation and Tsuyu chuckles. Iida smiles fondly. Izuku struggles not to combust on the spot. How can Shouto just say stuff like that so casually? That was the single most romantic thing Izuku’s ever heard him say, and judging from the look on his face, it wasn’t even intentional.
He’s sitting there like he’s just said a fundamental truth of life: he’s with Izuku, he doesn’t need anyone else.
(5 times Izuku swooned over small moments with his boyfriend + 1 time Shouto made a grand gesture.)
