Summary
At the beginning of his senior year, Nursey immediately (if unwillingly) realizes two things in quick succession.
One: A large portion of the Samwell student body is apparently into Dex, even if the guy is completely oblivious to this fact.
And two: For reasons that Nursey refuses to verbalize, he has a pretty big problem with that.

Summary
“No,” Dex says, not looking up from his homework, the moment that Nursey bursts through the door of the basement bungalow. The man has at least finally learned to knock first, though he never actually waits for Dex to answer.
“I didn’t even say anything yet,” Nursey pouts.
Dex keeps his eyes fixed firmly on the textbook on his desk, refusing to glance back over his shoulder and see whatever stupid expression Nursey is probably making at him. Nursey has a full arsenal of expressions at his disposal that all seem tailormade to chip away at Dex’s steady resolve. And it’s been getting harder and harder over the years not to let anyone see that, especially Nursey.
“You didn’t have to,” Dex says. “I could hear you psyching yourself up on your way down the stairs.”

Summary
Of all the times and places to realize he’s in love... It honestly never occurred to Dex that it could happen in such an innocuous moment. Walking to class on a chilly November day in his senior year. Catching a glimpse of his linemate through the window of the local coffee shop. Feeling a sudden, intense want, so fiercely it nearly bowls him over.

Summary
“It’s just,” Nursey starts and stops. He heaves a breath that feels like it takes about forty-five years to complete. “When was the last time you felt absolutely and breathtakingly alive, ya know?”
Dex crosses his arms over his chest. “When was the last time you consumed something other than coffee?”

Summary
Stiles goes away to college, and Derek suddenly falls ill. Obviously, the two things are completely unrelated. And, obviously, Stiles doesn't make the drive back to Beacon Hills at every available opportunity, to the detriment of his academic career, because he's secretly in love with the guy. That would be ridiculous.
