Mostly because she doesn’t allow herself to show weakness, especially with the multiverse falling apart. Again, it’s only brief. Illyana’s eyes flick up from burying herself into Ororo’s shoulder and sees a woman with black and white hair, mismatching eyes, and slightly parted mouth, surprised to see what’s in front of her.
Illyana’s eyes sharpen again. “What is she doing here?”

Seol Hee was... annoying. Extremely annoying. Bubbly, kind, warm, and energetic enough to make Illyana want to drag her into Limbo for a few days. Her ears were practically raw from listening to the constant chatter, the bothersome singing that never seemed to end. If it wasn't a spontaneous verse, it was a question about what kind of music Illyana listened to. Metal, metal for fucks sake! Not pop, not k-pop, not 'Luna Snow's top hits'... fucking. Metal. But no, Seol Hee had made sure to ask her about two thousand more times afterwards, just to be absolutely certain that Illyana wasn't secretly... she didn't even know.Illyana wanted to strangle the Korean woman, but she had an unfortunate feeling that Seol Hee would find a way to turn that into a conversation starter as well.
But that was only the beginning. Proximity always built comfortability, and from there– who knew what would happen?
