Ressler has plans to head home to Michigan to celebrate his niece's birthday with his family, but when he and Liz get unexpectedly delayed after interviewing a witness, the only way he will make it home on time is if Liz accompanies him. Originally published on FFN in November 2017 as a birthday gift for a friend, this story is set in season 5 before Tom's death and features some of my original characters from Wayward Son.
