This was an idea that popped into my head and wouldn't leave. What if now a Daniel and Sha're from a past, alternate reality came through the Stargate? It was a quite detailed idea at the time that I tried explaining to Ashley and she thought I was nuts because I couldn't explain it as well as I wanted so I started writing it and then I had her read what I had written so far which - at the time - ended mid-sentence. She liked it so I kept going.
