“No!” Sirius smacked the plastic cup filled with stale cereal out of his punished human’s hand. He responded a touch more dramatically this time to Sirius’ sudden physical appearance, though it was mostly due to the fact that his food now covered the floor. “Eat some real food and go to sleep!” Sirius’ skin prickled with a thousand fiery needles—release, release, release.
“My Cheerios,” his punished human mumbled, eyes glued to the ground forlornly.
“How can you even be functioning on this little sleep?” Sirius’ voice pitched higher and higher as he spoke. He wondered if he was capable of yanking his fake human hair out.

Summary

Hey guys, i'm back! i don't plan on abandoning this time i promissseee. someone almost found this acct and i panicked but i'm back and here to stay ;) some things have been edited but the story remains pretty much the same
here's a summary/facts without spoilers:
- Mostly canon compliant, as in canon deaths happen (sorry) but there's kind of a different ending. It's... almost happy?
- LONG. (hopefully)
- I'll try to update kind of regularly
- It is wolfstar centric, but focuses a lot on the marauders camaraderie
- mostly from remus' pov but a few times where sirius or james kind of take over.
- I'll put TW at the top of each chapter for certain things. Pretty heavy content sometimes but as per usual in this fandom.
- It is british 70s BUT loosely. Like perhaps i don't use all the seventies slang or something exists slightly before it was actually invented for convenience. (also i'm american so forgive any misconceptions)
- Goes from first year until Remus' death.

Summary
Eleven year old Remus Lupin knows he shouldn't be at Hogwarts, it's a risk for everyone, but his professors are of a different opinion, especially Minerva McGonagall who accompanies him to the Shrieking Shack for his first transformation after starting school and does her best to support him.
With time and careful nudging from professors and his friends, Remus slowly begins to accepts he is welcome there, or at least has enough fun to not worry about it all the time. At least until James and Sirius come up with the idea to become animagus to join him on the full moons.
