The Dark Enchantress War is over. Cookies from every corner of Earthbread are gathering in the Crème Republic for the grandest event of the age: the First International Exhibition. Everyone is invited! And how could Jagae Cookie and Manju Cookie, great Guildmasters, refuse?
But among all the guests, someone who was never supposed to be there might have accepted the invitation as well. And when an unexpected incident throws the Exhibition into chaos, why are Jagae and Manju involved once again? And as if that were not enough, they are also forced to work together to face a threat that may have been forgotten.
And who knows, maybe they will discover that, deep down, they do not hate each other that much after all. -

Summary
[Matching Tattoo Soulmate AU]
Jagae knew that, a few years back, the tattoo most people desperately longed for had appeared on her body, too. Truth be told, though, she couldn’t care less back then.
The thought that she would never truly have a choice, that she would never fall for someone just by chance, or out of pure chemistry, made her skin crawl. On top of that, there was the bitter truth that some people never crossed paths with their soulmate at all. They ended up spending the rest of their lives alone, or settling for someone with a mismatched tattoo.
Spending the rest of her life loveless, living in a relationship plagued by a constant sense of something missing, or being “lucky” enough to have the choice taken out of her hands and meet her soulmate, those were her options.
And Jagae, especially the Jagae who had just turned twenty, wasn’t about to settle for any of the three.[Day 6 prompt while it's still Day 5, call me chaotic evil]

Dismal, somber clouds conceal the vast skies, coating the atmosphere in dull, unwelcoming shades of grey, or maybe celeste. He couldn't tell in the moment. Icy gusts of wind pricked at his skin. Like the spines of a cactus they dug deep, the hellish sensation grasping at his focus and evoking a pained whine out of him.Pathetic, the word an anchor that settles itself in his mind, yet he pays no attention to it. He couldn't.
He couldn't afford the luxury of lowering his guard.

Summary
The earliest hours of the day are when Jagae would comfortably enjoy her art. But between her duties of delivering goods to her clients, managing her crew to ensure one of them wouldn’t fall overboard, and settling trade disputes between merchants, her passion often had to take a back seat until they were finished. And as much as she loved her trading and sailing, it could easily be exhausting. But at the end of the day when she could retire from the workload, she found the burden of work stress eased when she began sketching the familiar horizons and landscapes of the harbors she frequented and visited. Something about capturing the beauty of the kingdoms she traveled to always managed to put her at ease.
“Captain Jagae!” A member of her crew called loudly. It came suddenly, sending a quick jolt of fear through her as she quickly hid the sketchpad in her coat. She turned as if nothing happened.

Manju finds the remnants of Jagae’s secret hobby that were accidentally left exposed in the harbor. And instead of mocking her, he is amazed at her talent and praises her for it, for once in his life.
