Summary
Sirius’s thoughts are a slow-moving, impending disaster. How he wants to pin Remus up against the cupboards, to crowd him into a corner; how he wants to intertwine their fingers, to brush his lips against Remus’s forehead, his jaw. Instead, he settles for ducking his head and sliding a finger through the belt loop of Remus's jeans—a ridiculous gesture so utterly intimate, even for the pair of them, that he only allows it because he’s just drunk enough.
“Stop stealing my bloody clothes, Lupin.” He says, very quietly.
Remus looks up at him, eyes dark, and murmurs pleasantly: “Better learn to do your own laundry then, Black. Consider it my fee.”

Summary
On the run from Voldemort, Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy develop feelings for each other. They've been squashed in a tent with five other people and no privacy. This is their first time alone, when they can finally be together.
In the original TEEN RATED fic by waspabi, Harry and Draco slowly begin to like each other, despite the fact of Draco's posh pureblood background, and Harry's essentially Muggle childhood. He's suffered six more years of the Dursley's abuse than in canon HP until he escaped at age seventeen with little more than his shabby clothes. The relationship in the original is tentative and early, barely more than pining and a few kisses. I desperately wanted to see more action, and realized I had to write this slash epilogue. The ice fishing comment comes from ch.8, the last chapter of the original.
This is an EXPLICIT AU epilogue to the original fic.

The most gorgeous fic ever. Animorphs has such a special place in my heart and childhood. And this fic was such a wonderful, warm conclusion to the series and so satisfying and so nostalgic and warm about friendships coming back together and about how to deal with life. So lovely. :') 😭
