Summary
Regulus Black dies on a dreary, cold December day, which, frankly, he never expected. In fact, if given a choice, he would’ve preferred to die in September—somewhere in between the miserable heat of summer and the gloomy cold of autumn, just for the spite of it all. But no, the universe had other plans.
After gulping down a potion that burns like liquid acid and battling some nasty Inferi in his final moments, Regulus is ready for the afterlife—a peaceful hill where he can watch his loved ones live their lives without him. A nice, quiet end. Or so he thought.
Instead of passing on to his idyllic hill, he wakes up in the past—still stuck in his childhood bedroom, surrounded by the same old stuffy house and the same miserable family.
Great.
Apparently, gods and deities have a twisted sense of humor, but Regulus isn’t about to let this slide. If he has to relive this mess, he’s going to get that damn hill one way or another—even if it's the last thing he does.
