Draco is finally reaching a point of stability in his life, no matter how much the small voice in the back of his head nags him and reminds him of the one thing he is missing. He has dragons to care for, a weird tightrope to walk with Charlie, and no time to spare on thinking about such troublesome things.
It all changes when Giles, seemingly a bundle of nervous energy and excitement, sweeps into his life and makes him feel like he's back in his Hogwarts days again. As Giles changes during his stay at the sanctuary, evolves into a more familiar presence, Draco is forced to deal with a feeling of overlap and a constant twisting in his gut. -
