“You’re not gonna believe this,” Ekko says, slightly out of breath. “So I’m hustling Talis down at the forge, right? And I’m giving him the works.”
He ticks off ‘the works’ on his fingers as he elaborates, “I complimented his work, I name dropped Councilor Medarda, I went on and on about how much her investment really means to us, since you know their families are like this,” he crosses two fingers together tightly.
An effective visual, surely, had Viktor actually been looking.
“Then, I mentioned our project scaling up and he hooked it up for free.”
That, finally, gets Viktor’s full attention. He spins around on his stool, flipping his goggles onto his forehead. The heavy thud of Ekko’s haul is enough to imply just how big of a ‘hook up’ this was.
“What exactly did you say to him?”

Summary
Five years ago, Jayce made an impulsive offer to build Hextech weapons to combat the rising tide of Undercity airship piracy. In response, Viktor torched their research and disappeared from Piltover for good.
Five years ago, a new airship took to the skies, with a young captain and a misfit crew and a massive, impossible tree growing straight through the hull.
These two events are completely unrelated - unless, of course, they're not.
Jayce steps into Viktor's space. His fist closes in the lapel of Viktor's overcoat. It's a little foolish, but he half-expects this whole thing to be some kind of hallucination. Something at the back of his brain imagines his hand will pass through Viktor like mist. It doesn't, and that, more than anything, makes this feel like more than a hypervivid variation on the same dream Jayce has been having for years now.
In his dreams, Viktor always has the clammy chill of a cadaver. This Viktor feels so warm under Jayce's hand, he thinks his skin might come away scalded.Bookmarked by ammy_bee

There’s too much but too little to describe him.
Zoro. Zoro, who—no, no, no offense to Nami—should have been first. Zoro, who’s a constant, and he’s practically vibrating with the need to reach and touch him, make sure he’s really real. His tongue darts out to wet his lip as he steps forward, crowding into his personal space and finally grinning because I found you!
Luffy wants to call him an idiot, because it figures he would get lost finding his way home.
But Zoro just blinks at him, flushes, one eye still framed by a familiar scar and says, “Oh, sorry,” and makes it so much worse when he says, “Do I know you?”

He looked up at her, and an uncharacteristic softness settled over his features. He took a deep breath through his nose and scanned the face of the young woman in front of him. "What the hell do the Fireflies want with you?"
The earnestness startled her momentarily, and she lifted the cigarette to her lips to calm her nerves back down.
"I wouldn't worry about it, man," she finally responded. She broke his gaze and returned to the coffee table to drop her cigarette butt into the empty peach can. She laid back down on the couch and massaged her temples.

The events of TLOU if Ellie had aged out of military school before Marlene found out about her immunity. Joel and Tess are hired to smuggle a 19 year old Ellie out of Boston, after she's already been hiding her immunity for five years.
TL;DR: TLOU1 but with a TLOU2 aged Ellie, because I'm in love with the potential for that dynamic.

Tommy called it a beauty even though it wasn't, but Joel didn't tell him that. Ellie's dismissive snort did. It was the kind of annoyed snorting only a teenager was able to form and that was best left alone or ignored altogether.
Joel just called it a motorcycle.

He almost laughs. Snorts air out his nose, but doesn’t bother to reply. There’d be no way to explain it even if he did. The watch’s face is cracked and the battery died a long time ago, but it would be like losing a limb to take it off. Some days the weight of it is all that keeps him in the world.

“Hop on, kid,” Tommy says with half a sigh and half a heartbreak. Ellie, refusing to look at Joel, grabs Tommy by the arm and flings herself onto the back of the horse.
Joel, ever so stubborn, stares straight ahead.
“Stay. That’s the least you can do,” Tommy says, and Joel can almost taste the bile that’s rising in his brother’s throat when he says the words. He wants him gone, but in wanting him gone, he’s also dooming him to something neither can control.
“We’ll see.” He replies, wiping his nose on his sleeve. It is too damn cold for this kind of conversation.
Ellie stares at his boots.
“Go save the world, kiddo,”
