Summary
Because yes, he is, and has been for a while, terrifyingly curious. That’s what passion is, isn’t it? A deep curiosity and love. That’s what he’s been feeling, passion, and it’s Neil’s fault.
Go find what you love and hold on forever, hold on for as long as you can. Write poetry, Todd, write poetry, stick with what you love.
Even if it leaves in the dead of night.Title from the song 'Star' by Mitski, incredibly underrated, would recommend.
this was written on a whim in like an hour.

“I’m not kicking you out over Christmas.”
“I know you wouldn’t,” said Neil, looking entirely too pleased, Todd thought, for the situation at hand. “But baby, what are you going to tell him? ‘Hi, Neil’s going to be here too the whole time, for reasons inconclusive but definitely uber-platonic! By the way, don’t look at all the pictures of us making out everywhere!’”

Summary
Somewhere, without conscious thought, Eddie's brain connects the dots from waking up half-naked in Richie’s bed to Las Vegas, Nevada to wearing a wedding ring.
And then he almost rips the shower curtain down in his rush to get out.

Bookmarker's Notes
oh wow i almost felt like tearing up a little jeez. also i knew we were all missing a bev and eddie friendship. this is like the hangover except the night they can’t remember is incredibly wholesome and full of emotional vulnerability rather than tattoos and strippers and murder.
edit: I wrote this without knowing there ISNT a part two and now i need to maintain faith they just figure it all out in the end. -

Summary
“Don’t you think it’s fucked up for Bill to imply that like, you guys had lifelong boners for each other?” asks Richie.
Bev scoffs. “Look, I haven’t read it yet. It's not like I’m thrilled that Bill wrote a book where thinly veiled versions of us make out when we didn’t, but who is it hurting?”
-
A story in which the film events are the canon of Bill's book, and reality is much more mundane. And Richie is definitely not still crushing on Eddie after thirty years, what the hell, Bill.

Bookmarker's Notes
“ If there's any justice in this world, and Richie is starting to suspect there is- their air mattress will wind up next to Bill's tonight so he can fully appreciate what he’s done”
HAHA
