“So it was under duress.” Dan Feng is inscrutable. He dismisses Dan Heng’s apologies. “There is nothing to forgive; had I been there and known it would work I would have begged you to do it.” His claws rap slowly against the tabletop. “But. It does seem a bit unfair.”

Dan Feng’s smile is lazy and predatory. “If you give me a kiss as well, we can call it even. How about it?”
Dan Heng’s mind blanks as he stares at him. Stares at his lips. “You—what—“Dan Heng spends the rest of the festival fending off would-be suitors and flirtations from the oblivious Vidyadhara who seems confused why people are approaching him.

After years of traveling across the galaxy, Blade had become completely immune to different climates, the freezing temperatures of Jarilo-VI included.
However, the same could not be said for Dan Heng, especially not after his costume change. But that’s not going to stop him from continuing through the snow!
