After spending eighteen hours in a car headed from Chicago to New York with him, Choi Soobin thinks that he can describe Choi Yeonjun pretty perfectly. Choi Yeonjun is obnoxious, persistent and argumentative.
Choi Yeonjun also reckons he can describe Choi Soobin pretty perfectly. Choi Soobin is up-tight, a neat-freak and stubborn.
They both swear they'll never see each other again but fate has a twisted sense of humour.

It's easy to be The Fourth Gen It Boy, The Big Hit Legendary Trainee, The Choi Yeonjun, when you aren't. When the recognition and praise outweighs the pressure and opportunity to fail.
Yeonjun just wants to keep being someone who can make people proud. Someone who his members can be proud to know and to be with. Make MOA proud. But the problem with being at the top, the very top, is there's no where else to go but to fall. Crash. Burn.
And he can't help but feel like he's free falling already.

“Why do you call me mon chéri?” Soobin whispers in a quiet voice.
“What?”
“I googled it, you know, it’s not something you exactly call your friends,” It’s romantic and deep and it means something.
“Well, I don’t know to be honest, it’s a cute name for endearment, is that answer good enough?”
Soobin doesn’t answer him, can tell he’s lying—or at the very very least, not telling the entire truth.Soobin and Yeonjun live a not-so-complicated life, they establish a way to rid themselves of stress—an agreement with unsaid rules and lines and bridges they don't want to cross.
Until they break rules and cross lines.

Summary
Soobin relished the sensations buzzing through him, the revelation of wanting Yeonjun present until every memory vacant of him was forever lost. He, Soobin, wanted and wanted and wanted — "I want you to move in with me, Jun."
Alternatively, Yeonjun was never quite good with his words, but at least Soobin listened.

It only makes Soobin hum, looking up to think. “How long are you thinking?”
It was Yeonjun’s turn to hum in thought, head turning over to the sweater, tracing his thumb along the patterns that lay on the rim of the collar. “In eight years.”
“Eight?” Soobin chuckles, the other flipping his head back to meet his gaze. “Why eight?”
“Because it’s when we get old.”
Eight years later, Soobin looks at him with what was supposed to be hatred, beneath the moonlight in the dead of the night. They stand like they did a year ago, in lieu of broken promises.
