Morax hummed, sipping their tea. “Monitoring my sleep schedule—I have a terrible habit of sleeping too long—reminding me to eat. Small things that I may overlook,” they explained.
It was a lot that Morax was asking of Xiao, but he was so willing to serve and obey. Xiao nodded, his hands folded in his lap. “If my lord thinks I may be of some assistance, I see no reason why I should refuse.”
Lord Morax has finally awoken from their hibernation. The Lord of Geo asks Xiao personally to assist them and help the Archon adjust to normalcy once again.
Everything will be fine. At least, Xiao hopes.

Just as they are about to leave, an eagle swoops overhead, dropping something from its talons. Cyno catches it, staring at the object. It’s a golden sandal, bigger than his feet. He raises an eyebrow, looking to the sky, but the eagle is gone. “How… odd,” he mutters.
Nilou practically leaps for joy. “This is a sign!” she declares. “Eagles are symbols of love. Cyno, you have to find the owner of the shoe!”

“I can never get enough of you. You’re like a Dandelion Wine on a nice summer’s day,” the bard swoons, leaning in, licking the stray tears from Xiao’s cheeks, savoring the heady taste of salt and flesh.
“Don’t,” Xiao starts, panting hard, his lungs burning and his vision blurry. “Don’t compare me to your bad habits.”
“Mmm, I suppose you’re right,” Venti agrees, tracing the intricate swirls of Xiao’s tattoos, ignoring how he shivers. “You’re too good for me. I think you’ll be the death of me, songbird.”
Zhongli chuffs from behind Xiao. nosing his shoulder. “A little sappy, don’t you think, Barbatos?” she teases.
The lord of wind rolls their eyes with a huff. “Coming from Mrs. ‘When-heaven-and-earth-mingle’ herself? That’s rich, Morax,” they snort.
“I never said I was an exception to the rules,” Zhongli coos. “You just sound more…. cheesy than I do.”
Venti and Zhongli show Xiao just how much they love him with an extra bonus.
