Izuku's been tasked with writing a graduation speech for the upcoming class because Aizawa- the actual class homeroom teacher- is out with bronchitis and can't say more than two words at a time.
He's so excited to be able to speak at a graduation! But, the kids are cool. Very cool. He knows they won't listen unless he can "speak their language", so he does some research involving TikTok that takes more time than he realizes.
His husband, Katsuki Bakugo, isn't amused.

Small drabble set post-war, during their 2nd year at UA with Katsuki having a not-so-hidden crush on Izuku (they don't get together in this fic but Izuku does like him back, I'll explore this more in some other fics of mine) ; for the ts12 fest, using the song "Ruin the friendship"!
Extract:
“Yep, he’s doing the thing again!”
“Thing? What thing?”
“The Midoriya thing,” replied Sero.
The name shifted Katsuki’s attention back to the green-haired boy across the room but before he could get lost in his thoughts about Izuku again, two fingers appeared in front of his eyes, snapping away a few times and effectively ending his trance for the second time in the span of a few minutes.
Head swivelling back to his friends, he replied, “What Izuku thing? There’s no Izuku thing.”
