Everything else. Loving Anya with all his heart and hugging her, playing with her, coaching her through school. Loving Yor, holding her hand, kissing her cheek, going on dates with her.
“That’s real.” Loid swallows around the lump in his throat. “That’s all real.”
Yor wraps her arms around herself, nodding. She looks wan. “I work for the Garden, as you know. I have been since I was young to provide for Yuri. And...”
“And everything else?” Loid prompts, barely able to get the words out.
Yor takes one step closer so that they’re chest to chest. Her face tilts up. “Real,” she breathes.
Loid kisses her.
Having revealed themselves to each other in a race to find a kidnapped Anya, Loid and Yor find a moment to say goodbye.

“You smell like a pack of cigarettes,” he said ignoring her and pinching his nose. Then he turned to face her, a cruel look in his narrowed eyes. “Stop destroying your life before it even begins, Mikasa. Then we’ll talk.”
With that, he disappeared down one of their hallways, leaving Mikasa to stomp up the stairs and then slam her door shut, causing the picture frames on her wall with her and her parents to rattle. She sunk to the floor of her bedroom and into a small ball letting the tears stream down her pale now turning a flushed red face.
Like she does every night.

Kurapika works in the political and law department for the Hunters Association charity organization, and is currently fostering eight year old Killua. Leorio works in the medical department for said organization, and is eight year old Gon's part-time legal guardian.
