“Have you ever thought of painting us?” He asks and Renjun turns to look at him, one brow raised, so he adds quickly, “Dream members, I mean?”
Renjun nods. “I painted the seven of us when we were running into the open field.” He pauses. “I painted it because I thought it would be the last time we’d be together as seven.”
“You remember that?”
“Of course. I remember every significant moment with you guys.” He pauses and gives a small pout. “I remember meeting you too, even though you don’t have any impression of meeting me at all.”
Jeno frowns slightly, knowing what Renjun was referring to. It was unfair because he thinks the Jeno with Renjun then is different from how the two of them are now. He could sense it too, how Renjun feels distant whenever he mentions it.

Summary
“I--” Renjun breathes in. He could feel all the feelings he’s had for Jeno from his past life all rushing in-- the excitement, the longing, the love, but most importantly, the vivid pain that came with the alpha’s growing resentment towards him, the agony he felt when he realized Jeno didn’t love him anymore, the disappointment when he did not present as an omega. He knows all too well where this would lead and he isn’t sure he could say yes to marriage with Lee Jeno again. He has to say no, he has to take care of himself this time around, live for himself-- even if it means losing the warmth he once shared with Lee Jeno in their past life.
In which Huang Renjun is reincarnated into his previous life and his childhood friend asks him to marry him once again.
