Summary
Nick didn't feel much when the match had been a success. He was relieved, sure, but he still sort of felt just... stuck. It was the same feeling he'd been dealing with since he and Greg had driven back to Las Vegas after interviewing Cassie McBride in the hospital. Floating in the open, dark ocean. Finding it hard to stay afloat, and hard to breathe deeply enough. Nights without sleep. Headaches that aspirin didn't fix. A constant lump in his throat. He'd been relieved whenever he was able to invest himself in his work deeply enough to forget about how bad he was feeling. He noticed Grissom's page right away, and as he made his way to Grissom's office, attempting to keep his stride casual instead of frantic, he hoped that whatever Grissom had to say wouldn't be personal. He didn't want to ruin the only distraction that was working.

Summary
Nick dropped his fingers from the leather cord and took up his water bottle for another swig.
"It was very good, Nick." Greg said, finally feeling comfortable enough to unabashedly flirt, now that they were alone. "I'm impressed."
"Oh, yeah," Nick said as Greg dropped his necklace on the bed and stood, taking his Reuben to eat at the table. "I used to do those a lot when I was a kid, too."
Greg smirked over the first bite of his sandwich. "They taught you better." Nick's face bent into a lopsided smile as he picked up the necklace and began lacing his fingers into it. "Guess I was too busy with the chess club." Greg remarked, watching him work his fingers through the necklace. His necklace. It was, in a way, almost exciting. God, he was sick.--
Set during "Gum Drops," Nick and Greg's relationship deepens--and their importance to each other becomes even harder to define. A direct followup to "Overheating".

Summary
Nick turned back around, trying to force himself to just walk forward, but his legs didn't move. He turned to glance back one more time, considering if it was worth asking one of the officers to go down with him, then figured it was best not to. Most of them, he assumed, had already been in the bunker, and likely weren't in the mood to go down for no reason--Nick didn't feel that he could explain his trepidation, even if it was painted all over his face. He took a moment to catch his breath, then finally walked down the steps towards the open steel door.

Summary
He and dream-Greg had gone home. His home. Greg had kicked off his shoes and headed right to the kitchen, as if he lived there. When Nick followed him, Greg had put the kettle on the stove and gotten out a mug and tea bag. Weird. Nick didn't drink tea. Did Greg? Did Nick know that about Greg?
Nick glanced at Greg's styrofoam coffee cup. A string poked out from beneath the lid, and underneath it, a paper label: Earl Grey.
Nick's chest felt tight.
"Greg," he said, not realizing he was grinding his back teeth. "Do you always drink tea?"
Greg looked at Nick, confused, then followed his gaze to the styrofoam cup.
"Pretty often, yeah. Why? Don't tell me you need it for an experiment. Catherine once put a contraceptive in my tea."
"No, nothing like that." Nick broke his gaze from the cup, making eye contact with Greg and giving an over-assuring smile. "Just curious."
"'Kay, good. And don't ask me to take my socks and shoes off, either, I've learned my lesson with that."--
Nick's weird dream causes him to re-evaluate his feelings towards Greg. Set during "Compulsion".

Summary
Two of the most dangerous words in the english language, at least to Snot, were Lolo and Fuentes. And let's say he was jealous, maybe, still he would never admit it. And if it was eating him up inside, well then, that's was just his burden to bear.
That night, that was the moment that changed everything, for worse or for better.
This series follows the alternate and canon futures of Steve and Snot. Each part shows what happened to lead up to that eventual future, the likes of which we see from each appearance of a Future Steve and Future Snot.
They are as follows:
1) First appearance is successful Steve and Snot (our actual canon Steve and Snot)
2) Second appearance was of a separated Steve and Snot, who is an assistant manager at a gym and who is homeless
3) Third appearance is of a more extreme version of Steve along with a convict Snot
4) Fourth appearance we again see an even more extreme version of Steve and a (possibly) prostitute version of SnotOne night, one party and everything changed. For reference, the episode in question is "The Unincludeds", Season 11 Episode 11.
