Summary
Enter the Kingdom of Rivetier, where 7% of the population are born as spell-casters who can perform magic. Some gifts are used to help the kingdom prosper, while others are used to keep it safe.
Best friends Skyler Vytas and Atlas Connall are two of those people, possessing unbound magic, a rare form of spell-casting that can be shaped into anything, and nature spell-casting, respectively. Skyler works as the leader of the Warriors of the Crown, where he goes on missions to defeat monsters and protect the kingdom, many of which he insists Atlas come along to keep him company.
Their arrangement works well, until one mission goes horribly south, and Skyler finds himself using his magic in a way he never wanted to.
