Estinien caught him staring, raised an eyebrow without breaking eye contact.
‘Mooning over me won’t change my mind, Borel. I’ve survived over two decades without flailing around in some accursed pool. I don’t plan on starting now. Don’t you worry about me. I’ll be fine.’
And with that he was gone, vanishing into the late-afternoon light like a half-remembered dream. Aymeric took a very measured breath, fighting down the urge to scream and possibly chuck that apple core at Estinien’s head.
This was going to be harder than he’d thought.

Summary
Contrary to popular belief (or at least Aymeric's), Estinien was not a sex fiend, and was certainly more than capable of going a few days without release. So when Aymeric challenges him to put that certainty to the test with a little bet, of course he accepts. He's gone weeks before, he can do it again, especially when the prize promised to him is so delicious.
The contest: Who can go the longest without coming?
The prize: The loser has to do whatever the winner says for a day. Anything? Anything.

Summary
The moment their friendship had crossed the line to lovers—although they can hardly be called such, having never shared so much as the briefest of kisses—Aymeric had stepped back, asked Estinien to marry him, and promptly informed all and sundry that he was betrothed. At that point, Ishgard’s ancient customs surrounding the propriety with which betrothed couples were to act had slammed into place, and Estinien was denied the chance to act upon his desires until after the wedding, which seemed to stretch further and further away with every passing day.

The words have barely fallen from his mouth before Aymeric sees it. Even in the low light of the oil lanterns the long, sinuous tail emerging from Estinien’s lower back is impossible to miss. Thick at the base and tapering off towards the end before widening into an arrow-like tip, it is longer than any Au Ra or Miqo’te tail Aymeric has ever seen, almost touching the ground. He stops, frozen in place, struggling to take in the sight. “What—”
Estinien flinches and retreats to the couch, pulling his knees up to his chin and curling his new adornment protectively about his body. “Aye. ‘Twould seem Nidhogg left behind some physical reminders of his time spent wearing my body like a puppet.”

There is a moment of silence then. A moment, as Estinien remains still. A moment, as he pulls his fingers from his hair and moves his hand to rest it upon his thigh..
And then another, as his brows furrow, then arch quizzically.
"Have you quite lost your senses?"
During a well deserved break, a pleasure woman tries to entice Aymeric with some novel ideas involving honey. As a very much taken man he turns her down, but the idea is now one he can not get out of his head.
