In 2037, a single father moves to Los Angeles in look for better job opportunities. Eddie Diaz, army veteran and newly firefighter, went to the 118 because it was the only station that didn't follow the normal 50% of personnel being androids.
It turns out the only android there ended up meaning to him more than he ever thought he would. BK-400, newest firefighter assistance model, named Buck by his coworkers, seemed to be more than just wires and blue blood.

Summary
Buck is a promising young witch making a name for himself as the self-proclaimed "fix-it" man for the supernatural community that thrives just beneath the surface of mortal reality in the city of Los Angeles. He's doing pretty well for himself, and life is good. Enter Eddie Diaz, scorchingly hot werewolf and the current thorn in Buck's side. Buck would like nothing more than to tell the infuriating wolf to fuck off. Problem is, Eddie needs Buck to help him find his missing son. The two of them will need to put aside their differences to save Christopher, and along the way, maybe they'll learn to weather the oncoming storm.

Summary
Margaret and Phillip spent years not seeing their children and then slowly got back into contact with them until this point, where they think they’re in a pretty decent place, actually.
Except then Buck gets injured and, as his hospital room fills with evidence of a life they know absolutely nothing about and they meet and hear about people they’ve never heard of (including a child?!), they realise that perhaps it was all simply too little, too late after all.
