"I'm not calling you anything," Blurr says, optics flashing. "I am only saying that victory needs to be objectively confirmed."
For a long moment, they simply stare at each other. Then Blurr grins, wiping down his abdominal plating one more time and throwing the soiled cloth at Drag Strip.
"Or I could always challenge you to a round three."
Drag Strip and Blurr fall sideways into an off-the-track rivalry just as intense as any of their public races.

Summary
It's just — something Knock Out does, a process he's worked out through countless rounds of operating on Breakdown to make him bigger, tougher, better. He understands Breakdown's frame better than Breakdown does himself. After all, Knock Out was the one to rebuild it, piece by painstaking piece.
Knock Out and Breakdown have this little ritual, where Knock Out upgrades Breakdown's frame while Breakdown is awake and aware of it, like their own personal trust fall.

Summary
Pharma didn't want Ratchet to continue down that path, thinking too hard on all the lengths Pharma was going to: the genuine scanner, the medical berth cover, the lights tweaked to best imitate the lighting in one of the hospital's examination rooms. He didn't need Ratchet to realize how carefully, how extensively Pharma had pre-planned this. He only needed Ratchet to — be himself.
Pharma proposes that he and Ratchet start having regular date nights. What Pharma means is, nights for exploring his under-explained kinks.

Summary
Starscream loved planetary tournaments. They were large and loud and everybody who was anybody was there. You had to be. You couldn't skip, not even if you wanted to, not if you were trying to be relevant. Such a blessing that Starscream loved them so much.
A fencing AU, because what else is fanfic for? Starscream is coaching at the new/old Metroplex club, the fencing community loves him, everything is fine. As long as he keeps focusing on that, maybe it'll even be true.

I enthusiastically recommend the entire series. On its face, this looks like a silly AU where giant robots do fencing. And it is that! But it is also a deeply moving examination of dysfunctional relationships and differing responses to trauma and the way it dissects the megastar relationship gone wrong really blows me away.

The best soulmate AU (imo) is a subversion of a soulmate AU and this fic is both a great execution for that and an amazing ship manifesto for Starscream/Ultra Magnus, beloved tiny rarepair of my heart.
