“Welcome to the fourth rendition of the Lives Games!
Each of you begin with 3 lives, same as usual, although your color doesn’t affect your role in the series this time around. At the beginning of each session you will receive a slip of paper with a name, this paper binds you to that person. They are your target.
You have a week to kill your target. Each kill will transfer their life to yours, so while you may start with 3, it is possible to end with more than that at some point.
Targets can fight back against their assassins, but red lives will not be aggressive to all players. They are simply more dangerous to their targets. Fail to kill your target by the end of the session without being killed yourself, and you lose a life.
When you kill your target, you receive the name they had, red lives must continue the cycle.
Good luck players. Welcome to Red Life.”

“Wh-” George tries to respond, but Dream interrupts before he can say anything.
“But, if the travel ban is lifted any time after one month, you win and I’ll wear a maid dress when we meet,” Dream’s voice is as confident and cocky as ever. How can he be so sure of himself? There’s literally no way for him to know for sure, and yet he’s betting like he does. It's fine though, it's not like this is an actual bet.

The Minecraft Championship games are an annual event, attracting sportsmen and women at the top of their abilities to take part in a series of games to test their stamina, teamwork, communication and knowledge of the sport. This year is no different than any other year - although two new competitors going by the names of Tommyinnit and Tubbo will be the youngest competitors that the Championship games have ever seen. Familiar rivalries will take to the world stage, with Technoblade and Dream once again pitted against each other and the famous "Dream Team" split down the middle.
Hosted this year in the Independent Nation of L'Manburg, who will come out on top? And will everything go according to plan?
