Summary
“You’re sweet, Stebbins,” Richard found himself saying, part of him wondering if Stebbins were queer himself, if he’d done all this in the hopes of getting some. He wasn’t exactly easy to read. He was attractive, though. The way the tan shirt hugged his chest and arms was like something off the cover of a romance novel, muscles rippling just beneath the fabric.
“No,” said Stebbins from the doorway, “I’m not. If we'd been part of the fifty, I would've stepped over your dead body like it was trash in the road.”

Summary
Reluctantly pulling back, Clancy glanced at the cell door. The sliding panel of the observation window was closed, but that detail did little to ease his fears. "They'll hear us."
Not missing a beat, the Torchbearer just shrugged and said, "Let them."

Summary
For the second time that morning, Clancy found himself incapacitated by emotion. Up until a few days ago, he'd lived in a concrete tomb masquerading as civilization. Now he could watch as this landscape, untamed and untouched by Bishop hands, cried its thunderous tears of joy and pain. And standing beside him was someone whose presence alone inspired awe. Clancy didn't understand what he'd done to deserve such gifts.

Summary
"Nah. I think you hate a lotta people, Rafe, but you don't hate me. Not even now."
That cut deep, too. Because it was true. Rafe didn't hate him. That feeling roiling in his gut, hot and parasitic – that wasn't hate, no matter how much he wanted it to be. It was want. It was all his rotten insides crying out the same thing at once: I need you. Come closer. Touch me, touch me, touch me.
[In which Barry pays Rafe a visit in jail. Set between 2.06 and 2.07.]

Theo sucked in a ragged breath and let it go. Then, with a trembling hand, he reached up to touch his hair. Here, alone in the dark, he could be whoever he wanted. At least for a little while. He could be like all the other grassy-kneed boys on the Little League team. He could be like Stiles.
He could be like Scott.

Summary
And Theo thought of the hands that had held him down, the cold metal of examination tables permafreezing his insides. He thought of how being reached for had become synonymous with syringes and scalpels. Thought, I don't want anyone else to grow up like that. Like me.
