Summary
Oikawa Tooru was an exceptional student. You were better. Thus - the rivalry was born. Becoming the manager of Aoba Johsai's volleyball team, following your passions and finding a sense of happiness in your school years wasn't a part of your plan. You didn't want to develop feelings for Oikawa Tooru. You just wanted your stupid documents fixed.
You couldn't describe the complicated feelings you were feeling very well, you simply knew you wanted to stay close to him.
Maybe you were delusional, but something told you Oikawa liked you too.
Or: Oikawa's inferiority complex kicks in after you one-up him in an admission exam, that causes your life to turn upside down.

Zanka barely manages to gather the strength to speak, but the words spill out of his mouth anyway. "I am going to fucking kill you."

Aka; Zanka watches Jabber play without knowing him and they lock eyes for a moment, then Jabber keeps showing up day-to-day, eventually swaying Zanka into a sense of love that Zanka hates, almost as much as he hates Jabber.
(I might actually rewrite this whole thing, or make another fic with the somewhat same premise because I feel like a missed a ton of potential)
