Summary
As she seals off the very last letter – tying it to the foot of a gentle dove - she thinks about what she’s just done.
She thinks about the fact she’s just lied – she thinks about the fact that they’re all pretty bold-faced lies. She thinks about the fact that she’s likely going to have to come up with even more lies to keep the starting lies going. She thinks about the fact that she hasn’t felt anything at all during these last few moments – that her heart has been empty, her head has been quiet, and her feet haven’t touched the ground. She thinks and she thinks and she ponders and she asks and she muses – why had she done all of this? Why had she lied so blatantly to the people she supposedly desired to trust above all else? Why was it so hard to be truthful, instead of spinning another yarn? Was this what she truly wanted?
Well, she supposes she’d lied far enough already; there’s no real recourse or reconciliation for her actions at this point than to stick with them, and to keep going.
She just needed to make those reasons into a reality.

There’s a small, historical old movie theatre in one of the quieter parts of town.
You know the one; the parts that are mostly run down from how long it’s just been there and filled with old farts that have refused to move in over forty years because they’re just that old and stubborn, and you might as well move mountains with the willpower you’d need to crack bone and teeth alike. It “speaks” to the city’s cultural heritage – a neighborhood that hasn’t been run over by multi-story plain white condos that'd make an architect from the seventeen hundreds cry.
He’s not here to see a movie. In fact, he’s never here to see a movie. Venti is here for a pack of smokes, instead. So, as he goes to the small vending machine to grab his favorite pack of smokes, and from the corner of his eyes, he thinks..
Oh, wow.
