“Hey, man, you need a ride?”
A kid, in his 20s. Black tousled curls, green eyes. His cheeks are round, some baby fat still clinging to him, but it’s offset by the strong line of his jaw and a square chin. Frank’s knife aches in his pocket; he wants to flick it open, press the tip of it into those cheeks, first one, then the other. Watch the flesh dip, then split and part for the blade. He wants to carve that face.
“I’m headed for Nevada,” he says. “Any bit could help.”
“Hey, it’s your lucky day!” the kid says with a broad grin that stretches his plush cupid lips really far. “Hop in!”
Frank climbs into the back seat, slips off his backpack.
“Thank you boys so much,” he says, extends a hand. “My name’s Frank.”
The kid on the passenger side shakes it, easy and firm.
“I’m Daniel, this is Armand.”
Or: it's 1979, two maniacs are in love, and serial killers make for good lunch.

Summary
An AU after all Armand's machinations, he turns Daniel after the face the Great Convergence (Akasha, is that you?!) Only then does Armand have a complete mental break after he processes how he almost, finally, lost Daniel.
Determined to never be in that position again, Armand abruptly cuts himself off from Daniel, Lestat and Louis—the only ones he still cared to lose—and determines he will in all ways be better off if he just returns to the ways of the Children of Satan.
Except, Daniel and Lestat embark together on a road trip to bring Armand back to both them and himself, even if they have to bring him back kicking and screaming.

Independently wealthy man, early 30's, seeks arrangement with young male aged 18-25, not too muscular and no more than 200lbs (anything more would be most unmanageable) to share my apartment and affection with for 1 year until slaughter. All needs up to that point will be met -surpassingly so, I must admit, as I can be rather doting. There will be no need to consider expenses as they will be covered entirely by myself-
"-There will be a rigorous interview process consisting of correspondence by email..." Daniel shook his head, laughing. "Of course, buddy. I'm sure I'll have a lot of competition." He raised his whiskey glass to his lips and wet them. "If this sounds like an amenable blah blah... Christ, this guy is verbose. I'll have to bring along a thesaurus to keep up."
Daniel Molloy was 24, not too muscular, and no more than 200lbs. He was also steadfast and enterprising -when he could keep his nose clean- and had nothing more interesting to do than chase a story about an independently wealthy man with the screen name Botticelli_Angel who seemed to have the world's most taboo kink. Daniel could play the part, see where the story took him for a while. If shit got too weird, he'd dip. (Spoiler: He doesn’t dip.)
