“I’m glad,” Soobin replied, “but I want my kiss,” he whispered that last part and Yeonjun fell for him a little bit more.

“How often do you do it?” Soobin asks, his voice dry enough to be a whisper. “Imagining it’s me?”
The thing about Yeonjun is that he picks up immediately. He knows the inflection in Soobin’s tone—a subtle suggestion of what he just pictured in his head. Yeonjun finally meets Soobin’s gaze, and this time it’s with a teasing glint in his eye.
"Wouldn't you like to know," Yeonjun smirks, and there's something devilishly playful in the way he leans into Soobin's ear to say it, teeth grazing over Soobin’s earlobe. He nips the flesh, guiding it with his tongue until it rests against his lips. Then he kisses it. The soft smack resounds in the silence of this room, leaving Soobin breathless and warm. Toes curling. Shoulders hunching. "What if I fuck myself every night, thinking about you and your big cock?”

It’s just like Yeonjun to say things like that—skirting silly and sentimental in one breath like it’s nothing, as if it doesn’t flow into Soobin’s veins and shake his soul.
“I like it when you let me,” Soobin says, speaking to the darkness above them. How intimate it is—he realises—to be in Yeonjun’s bed after midnight in the dark, surrounded by lingering traces of his cologne, to sit in his bed as a welcome visitor and touch his hair in a way so many others have only fantasised about. It’s almost too much to have felt so close to Yeonjun all day, to have watched him fall apart and helped piece him back together, and Soobin wonders if these were all lines he shouldn’t have crossed because now everything between them feels different and though Soobin can’t pinpoint why, he can pinpoint exactly when.
Now.
Or: When Yeonjun's first relationship comes to a mysterious end, Soobin revisits feelings he thought he buried a long, long time ago.
