“Listen Benji, unless one of us kills the other they’ll shoot us both,” Ethan says urgently, hefting the ridiculous gladiator-style spear and shield their sadistic captors had thrust on him, a match set to Benji’s shield and sword. “And if we hesitate or try to rig the outcome they’ll know and kill us just the same. So we’re going to have to fight to the death for real, fight with all we’ve got, and,” he hesitates, struggling to get the words out even though he is lying through his teeth, “whoever proves the best fighter and kills the other will live. It’s that or we both die.”
Benji’s face turns deadly white, and fear overwhelms his eyes. Benji knows that Ethan is the superior fighter, and Ethan is sure that in that moment Benji is convinced he is about to die. Ethan should be relieved—Benji has to believe this, he’d never agree to let Ethan passively die for him—but he feels sick. If Benji truly believes that Ethan would take his life to save his own hide, even if the only alternative was to die together, then Ethan has already failed him.

The Witcher has pitched his tent in the farthest corner of the camp, barely even inside the clearing they’d decided to use as a resting spot for the night anymore. Mother says it’s because Witchers are protectors, that it’s in their nature to put themselves between the monsters of the world and everyone else.
Romriel isn’t convinced.
Or; 5 times seeing the good in Geralt makes someone change their mind about Witchers + 1 the time the wrong people mistake Geralt's human side for a weakness.

At first, Jumba Jookiba and Wendy Pleakley found it difficult to get along, though on some level, they always appreciated each other's company. As time passed, they found themselves redefining their relationship, and ultimately, the challenge loomed of when they could say to each other the words that would either make or break their bond: "I love you."
This is basically a collection of oneshots sprinkled throughout the Lilo & Stitch canon, from the first film through the animated series to Stitch Has a Glitch (which I have decided to set LAST in the canon for characterization purposes, even though there are some canon flaws that suggest against this). Just meant to be some shippy fun, though a couple chapters run on angst fuel.
