    Summary

Macklin Celebrini has made peace with the fact that he loves Will Smith and that Will can never know. As long as they stay close, as long as Mack gets to keep him in his orbit, he can live with the ache. Moving in together feels like a small miracle and Mack wills himself to believe that it will be enough.

Then Will starts dating a girl, and Mack watches her step into the home he thought belonged to the two of them. Jealousy hits him harder than any check he has ever taken, and every moment in the apartment becomes a reminder of what he cannot have.

"Will?" Macklin whispers softly and Will hums in response, forgetting how to talk for a second. "I think we're stupid."

Will snorts loudly, leaning down and pressing his forehead to Macklin's collarbone, both of their bodies shaking with soft giggles.

    Summary

Mack’s season is a mess of bright lights, loud crowds, and the kind of over-stimulation that builds until it breaks. Some nights he manages. Some nights he melts.

Will stay through all of it, the panic, the crashes, the quiet mornings after, helping him find safety in a world that never slows down.

A story about autism, hockey, and the love that keeps him steady, everyday and forever.
