Summary
A mouse named Thimblewood discovers an abandoned rat pup, the mice's sworn enemies, and has to raise it himself. This mouse is the Queen's loyal paladin. After raising this rat os one of their own, Rosethorn starts coming of age and wants to venture outside the safety of home. When she does she discovers something unknown to even the mice kingdom. She must choose to stay and help the only people she knows and love or join her own kind and learn what really happened on that faithful day.
