“Okay!” Frodo cheered. “Thank you Uncle Thorin, you are the best.”
Ouch. Okay that hurt. Of course Thorin was the best but… Frodo was the only reminder of Shire Bilbo had in that mountain, his only kin and still he wasn’t the best in Frodo’s eyes. He must have sucked royally for that to happen.

Bilbo and Thorin adopted Frodo and Bilbo is jealous how Thorin seems to connect with the boy better than him.
