    3. Clean the cycle room after you use it.

     

    Or, during MARS' time away from the house, Jun had his rut and didn't bother cleaning up after himself because he didn't think anyone would use it again. Cut to Dylan having his first heat after they've become independent artists. Both have to face the fact that maybe some things aren't just instincts.

    The thing about Jun and Dylan was that they were never supposed to get along. But a bottle of liquor and the attraction led them somewhere neither expected: an arrangement. No feelings, no expectations, no one could know. For two years, it worked perfectly, convenient, uncomplicated, pleasuring.

    Until it stopped working at all.

    And Dylan can't walk away, because having Jun sometimes, in secret, in the spaces between his real life, still feels better than not having him at all.

    Except that it's not. It's never been enough.
