Summary
Akihito uses his photography to reveal the things his targets are trying to hide, but a photo exhibit at a cat café/gallery leads him to discover that his photos actually reveal a lot about his own feelings -- especially his feelings towards a certain crimelord. With his friends, family, the media, and the powerful of Tokyo converging on the exhibit, will Akihito and Asami be able to keep their relationship a secret -- especially with things stirring in the underground and the police sniffing around their relationship once again? In this story, we'll be meeting Akihito's and Asami's families.
(Takes place in my Checklist universe. I'll provide notes at the beginning so you can follow along even if you haven't read the other works in that series, though Akihito and Asami will seem slightly out of character.)

I've reread the first chapter about a hundred times already. I'm confused about what exactly is going on among the criminals. Maybe it's a translation issue? I'm trying to have Aki talk to Detective Yamazaki's nephew about it in Exhibition (Checklist Universe), and without understanding it, I'm stalled. So any help explaining it will be greatly appreciated (and result in a new Exhibition chapter that much faster)!

Akihito was sent to get exclusive behind-the-scenes stories for the paper, but upon meeting the other contestants, Akihito discovers that one is the handsome owner of the club in Shinjuku he's been investigating for weeks... And the others are not what they seem.
Note: Because my real life has gotten busy, I've had to cut back on my fan-fiction writing. I'm focusing on finishing one story at a time. First will be Color My World, then Exhibition, and finally this story. Sorry, I have no estimate on when I'll come back to it, but I do plan to finish it eventually (I did make copious notes about all the intrigue, so I should be able to jump back in).

Summary
Takaba has a new part-time job that he's determined to keep a secret from Asami. As usual, Asami has a few secrets of his own.
I thought this would be a simple one- or two- shot, but Takaba decided he needed to show off a bit because Yamane-sensei so rarely lets him. He demonstrates his talents in investigative journalism, fashion photography, and his titular secret job. Meanwhile, Asami manipulates things to his advantage -- sometimes less successfully than he thinks.
