"Little shits," she thought. Her inner voice sounded more vicious than she had intended. "They are both little shits. Suguru, you fucker. You pretended to care, but you never did. And Satoru, just go to hell."
As her own words dawned upon her, she shook her head. Guilt blossomed through her head like a flower during the first day of spring, forcing her to take the blame; it forced her to acknowledge that she had never made any effort to get close to them.
