During those nights, when I had a little too much mead or ale, it was so hard not to stare at Geralt's heavily muscled frame and the way he, nonetheless, moved so quietly as if he were a big grumpy cat or not to look too deeply into Jaskier’s dark, truly alluring eyes that promised me, he was so much more than a sensation-craving pain in the ass. But I didn’t think I could ever tell them neither my feelings nor how differently my body was than theirs.

A trans bard finds himself in the company of Geralt of Rivia and Jaskier, not knowing that they like him just the way he is and even fall in love with him. But he has his insecurities, needs a hug and a big smooch on the forehead because he is very much in love with both of them, but doesn't know they are too.

Summary
Wade is frustrated because he doesn't know how to confess his love to the object of his desire: the Russian man of probably-not-steel. He tried flirting with him for so long, but all the signs are telling him that Piotr is straight.
Instead of just coming to terms with his feelings Wade gets drunk and it may or may not end up him getting what he wants and needs so desperately.

Summary
Cintra is moving past its history of non-human prejudice. After the murder of Prime Minister Calanthe Riannon, sorceress Yennefer z Vengerbergu is installed as the head of Parliament and immediately begins dismantling discriminatory policies disadvantaging non-humans. Calanthe's murderer escapes with no trace.
Three months after that, a young man is found dead; strangled by a chain. Five more people are killed, all by presumably the same chain.
A full nine months past the murder of Calanthe, the Chain-Killer's murder victims are identified as having Siren blood. The investigation is moved from Cintra's Public Safety Major Investigations Unit to the Witchers of Kaer Morhen. Witcher Geralt z Rivii, coincidentally the guardian of the late Prime Minister's granddaughter, takes over the case. He finds out that all six victims visited the same free clinic in downtown Cintra.
Jaskier is the star performer at the Fox and Hound. They sing and dance with an allure that draws clients to empty their pockets with barely a look. They are also, unknowingly, half-siren. And the Chain-Killer has them in his sights.

A world of colourful apartments, of loving smiles, of polyamory, of booths at strip clubs, of places to belong, of throwing away needles, having his own room, paying rent, making beds, falling in love, painting again, kissing two boys, having a family, of loving his life.
How the fuck did that happen?
