"We’re married?" Hong-er whispers, his one visible eye round as a saucer.
Xie Lian laughs, delighted, and scoops his tiny husband up to spin him around. "You’re my beloved," he confirms, booping Hong-er’s nose. "We’ve had many happy years together. This is one of the homes we share."

Around the campfire, Xie Lian tells stories that are meant to be scary, but Hua Cheng just stares at his face, lovestruck. His heart is pounding, but not from fear. He can’t believe Xie Lian is here. Warm, and safe, and holding him.
"Oh, San Lang, was that one too much?" Xie Lian whispers to him, sounding concerned. He presses a hand to Hua Cheng’s chest, and Hua Cheng leans into it, delirious from how much he’s being allowed. "Your heartbeat’s like a little rabbit."
"M-hm, I’m so scared," Hua Cheng agrees, not bothering to try to be convincing. "Won’t gege protect me?"
Xie Lian smiles at him fondly. "Of course," he whispers back. He hugs Hua Cheng a little tighter. "I won’t let anything get you."

I’m planning to add a chapter to each fic every so often, with a collection of the thoughts I’ve posted since the last chapter that fit the topic of each fic. This work is for SFW stuff where one or both of them are very small and/or a creature. For example:
Hua Cheng, cursed to temporarily be the size of a small bird, tucked into Xie Lian’s robes. He’s cozy and warm, snuggled up against his gege’s chest. Every so often, Xie Lian gently puts his hand over him to make sure he’s still there, and Hua Cheng feels very loved and cared-for. 🥺

Hualian forehead kisses… Hua Cheng kissing Xie Lian’s forehead to say goodnight. Xie Lian kissing Hua Cheng’s forehead when he feels under-the-weather in any way. Both of them giving each other forehead kisses whenever they snuggle and foreheads are in reach!!!

I’m planning to add a chapter to each fic every so often, with a collection of the thoughts I’ve posted since the last chapter that fit the topic of each fic. This work is for anything that might need the Underage warning, ranging from kissing to explicit sex. For example:
Xie Lian and Hua Cheng both get de-aged by a curse. Wu Ming recognizes tiny Dianxia as Xie Lian immediately, and Xie Lian develops a crush on his new friend almost as quickly.
And then they meet Feng Xin and Mu Qing, and they find out they’re MARRIED.
Little Xie Lian immediately demands kisses from his husband. Wu Ming hesitates, but he ends up giving in.
Poor Feng Xin and Mu Qing just sigh and go figure out the curse themselves.

Hua Cheng doesn’t like waking up in the mornings. :( (He just likes nighttime better.) So they have a routine: Xie Lian slips inside him, and he wakes up gradually to his god gasping in pleasure against his ear, filling him up just the way he likes.
Mornings are so much nicer that way. 🥺

Now I’m thinking about tiny de-aged Xie Lian, mildly sick (like a minor cold) because of the curse that de-aged him, and Hua Cheng bundling him up in blankets and cuddling him. Xie Lian puts his forehead against Hua Cheng’s neck, and it feels nice, because he’s a ghost so it’s cold.
