Fuck "star-crossed lovers", here they are. Arlo thinks highly of himself but he's actually an idiot, John thinks he's cool enough to dodge the Fork, Elaine might be a stalker, and Cecile supposedly is a simp for John. Supposedly.
Then everyone else is like hey, if the two most explosive best friends, a (former) homophobic girl and a bubbly charger socket, and two kinky lesbians can get together, why can't they? Might as well give a try, and feed the drama hoes. That takes about 30-something chapters, by the way. What is a brain cell? Never heard of one.
