"No. No, no, no."
Sylvia finds her hands grasping the sides of her face as her skin goes cold and her heart clenches. She had done everything she could. She knows that some of the potions hadn't been as high quality as they maybe should have been, but she hadn't really thought that this guy would put in the work to actually make something that would best her. Though she of all people should know better than to underestimate a competitor. Now, all she can do is watch as the money representing her life is handed over to a guy who dumps coins into his potions just to hear 'em jingle. Speaking of... Boss Finn's voice pulls her brain harshly back into her body.
"You poor thing. In over your head and you done drowned." Sylvia tries to form a response, something snarky and snappy and clever... but she just watches, shaking with rage as that grinning bastard turns on a heel and walks away.

This is just a self-indulgent exploration of "What If Sylvia Lost To Boss Finn In The Third Competition" that I am writing for the joy of myself and my partner.
Losing a competition in the game is just game over, but what would actually happen next? What if there is a big beautiful fish man with a lot of money.

A slice-of-life focused chronicling of their relationship post-game, where cards ramp affection and every match is just courtship with scorekeeping. From card battles to creature comforts, Itsy Bitsy Kaiju is the constant throughline—a language of teasing, tactics, and quietly cementing trust, building out into other arenas more as they slowly hit relationship milestones. When two highly competitive people try to share a life without ever calling the game, this is the result. Mostly domestic, though occasionally derailed by market errands, tournaments, tavern visits, and other such wild cards.

Summary
Fleshing out the evolution of Sylvia and Finn's relationship into a slower burn over the course of the game, minimally retreading canon interactions, covering plenty of interaction with the rest of the cast as well (not tagging everyone; the gang's all here). Picks up right after defeating Finn in the third round. Spoilers for some significant in-game events from day 31 through 50.
Note: slated for eventual revised version. Someday I want to bring this up to snuff with what I've written since.

Summary
Sanji was panicking. He was stuck on an island he didn't know, surrounded by people he didn't understand, forced to wear something he didn't enjoy...
...and apparently realising he didn't know as much about himself as he assumed.
Only problem was the fact that of all people who could have lead him to that discovery, it somehow ended up being an ex-warlord, Sir Crocodile.
