“...So?” Gunil repeats.
“Do you want Jiseok, too?”
Gunil tries to speak, but ends up with the words stuck in his throat. Why does it feel difficult to answer? Why doesn’t he automatically tell Jungsu no? Why does the idea of saying no feel like a lie?
Is it because of how the sound of Jiseok’s laugh alone can make his day? Is it because he always sneaks a glance when Jiseok wears that old shirt that shows a sliver of his tummy? Or because since that night, he keeps feeling the usual warmth of fondness for Jiseok sink lower into his gut?
Gunil clears his throat. “Do you?” he asks instead.

Summary
Jiseok was already surprised he hadn't let slip he was one of Gunil’s subscribers. He was usually terrible at keeping secrets, especially his own. Omitting felt like lying. The knowledge always felt physically heavy on him, no matter how insignificant or what the consequences of telling would be. He was worried that the moment he was alone with Gunil, the walls would close in and the pressure would crush him. It wasn't just about confessing to knowing his YouTube—it was the fact that Jiseok would continue to admit every single thought he had about Gunil. Jiseok knew he wouldn't be able to stop once he started.

It would, at the very least, give him a break from their matchmaking efforts. He can lay low about it, say it’s not super serious, and then let it fade away into an imaginary, amicable breakup.

gunil admired jungsu’s features with the same amount of love and affection that he always did, acting as though nothing was out of the ordinary as he soaked in his husband’s beauty. he leaned in delicately and kissed jungsu softly on his lips this time, “isn’t he pretty?”
a beat of silence. and then another. five heart beats, he counted, unsure of who he was waiting for to speak. and then realization struck. jiseok blinked, glancing between both sets of eyes looking directly at him, “me?”
gunil nodded, nosing against jungsu’s ear and kissing the side of his cheek. jiseok had never been asked something so directly like this by one of them either, and couldn’t help but feel like it was some sort of ploy to catch him in the act. for him to slip up and admit how badly he wanted his husband.
because of course he wanted him. he wanted both of them.
OR: jiseok likes the married couple next door a little bit more than he should. luckily for him, it seems they might like him just as much.
