Summary
Castiel is the Catholic school going do good-er, and Dean is the rebel without a cause. Their paths cross one night in Louisiana when Castiels family comes down from their home in Illinois for vacation. The two seem to instantly click after their meeting. What Castiel first thinks as a blossoming friendship, soon turns into something he never really expected. Castiel goes on a path of self discovery, conquers his own demons (and a few others), and gets the the first taste of love in his first romance. With the help of a certain Winchester that is.

Dean gets turned into an angel and becomes Cas' mate, whether or not he knows what that fully entitles.
Cas, however, is happy to explain to Dean along the way just exactly what is happening to him; and Dean will deny you every step of the way if you accuse him of becoming delighted with the idea of Cas showing him exactly what he means by "submissive tendencies".Sam has a surprise visitor in his life that comes from a part of his past that he just truly wants to forget- but they make him remember, and they help him move on and realize that sometimes holding a grudge isn't the best thing to do to someone when you love them.
Basically, this is nothing but PWP and some emotional stuff. (;
