“What? No! I’m--I’m not your subconscious, I’m your--” Keith starts, but he slams his lips together in a tight lock, then looks at the waves, while Lance sits up taller and leans in closer to him.
“My what?”
“Just--!” Keith starts, getting frustrated and pinching the bridge of his nose. “I’m real, okay? We’re not--this isn’t--we’re having a shared dream.”
Lance never thought he had a soulmate, but when he finds himself dreaming about a boy on Varadero Beach and in a southwestern desert, he learns they have an incredibly rare soul link–-one that allows them to form an unusually strong bond before they meet, but also exposes their greatest vulnerabilities to each other.

Summary
Lance wants to know what makes Keith tick. He wants to observe and study every small detail about him, like how whenever he gets nervous or uncomfortable, he spins his rings around his finger or how his brows furrow when he’s focusing on trying to figure something out. He wants to wrap his arms around Keith’s waist and lay his head on Keith’s shoulder as the other boy reads him his favourite novel.
He wants something more with Keith, but he can’t exactly do that when he’s supposed to hate him.
Lance McClain; star athlete, star student — yet, clearly that wasn’t enough for his family to want him to stay home for his senior year.After an incident at his high school, Lance McClain gets sent away to Altea Academy — a boarding school in the middle of the province and far, far, away from his life.
It isn't all too bad, but his roommate sucks ass.

Summary
Keith has been in love with Lance since high school.
And how he deals with it? Distance. He creates space between him and Lance, setting boundaries, and drawing lines, so that whatever happens, he won't screw up the best friendship he's ever had. He's adapted to being friends with someone who will never love him back, and for a while, it's doable.
But when Keith agrees to a vacation with his friends--that includes a whole lot of Lance--he's in for a vacation unlike any other.

“I’ll go,” someone finally says. Everyone turns to look at the source.
Lance has pulled his hands out of his pockets, but they’re still hanging limply at his sides. He stares straight ahead, not breaking eye contact with the two Marmorites projected above the control room. For a second, no one says anything. Then Hunk starts to laugh.
“Good one, buddy,” he says, snorting a little. Pidge wants to laugh as well, if only to show Lance that he’d successfully broken up the tension. But Lance doesn’t smile back at Hunk, doesn’t even look at him. He’s not joking, Pidge realizes with a jolt.
