Summary
Jack Abbot is close to having everything he ever wanted. He's got the looks, he's got the fame, and now he's just a few weeks away from becoming the next and youngest champion. He should be the winner of the Indy 500, but thanks to "The Legend" Montgomery Adamson and "The Runner-up" Brendon Park, also known as "The Shark." Now, the three racers will compete in a tie-breaker race for the championship in Los Angeles. But when he nods off during a call to his best friend at night, speeding to his big race, he catches a reckless driving charge and wrecks the main road of a small town in the middle of nowhere. Now, stuck somewhere between Gallup, New Mexico, and Kingman, Arizona, in a town the locals call "Radiator Springs," Jack must repair the road and try to focus on getting to and getting ready to win his upcoming race. No matter how often he finds himself drawn to spending time with the town lawyer and historian, Samira Mohan.
