“Do you miss figure skating?” Junhee asks, sudden.
Oh. Not exactly what Donghun expected.
“Yeah.”
“Wasn’t it… hard?”
Donghun smiles at Junhee fondly then, at his slightly parted lips and keen expression.
“It was really hard. But, it felt like- like flying. When you learn the routine, after so many days and nights of practice, and you can just- focus. Entirely on skating, on the feeling of moving through the air without thinking. It was, freeing.”
Junhee bites his lip, holding back a small smile.
“You make it sound so romantic.”

“What?” Junhee yells.
“For publicity,” Donghun’s agent says. “Actually, if you look online, there’s already a lot of speculation about you two. All you have to do is confirm it.”
“How do we do that?” Donghun asks.
Junhee looks towards him, in disbelief.
“You can’t seriously be considering this.”
Donghun just shrugs, a grin tugging at the corner of his lips.

Summary
“You’re the only good thing about this town,” Junhee laughs, opening his eyes and turning towards Byeongkwan.
He feels laid a little bare then, the way Junhee is looking at him with an insurmountable level of gentleness in gaze, the softness in his voice as he speaks. Byeongkwan turns his head so he faces out, towards the battered fence in front of him, but he can see Junhee in the corner of his eye. His face is carefully vacant, but his eyes are seemingly glazed over. It’s the closest Byeongkwan has seen him to tears, and suddenly, the thought of Junhee crying seems terrifying.

Byeongkwan and Junhee grow up together, with bicycles and wheat fields and trains to the big city.

Summary
Junhee is good. Because he loves children and dogs and sad movies and does volunteer work at an animal shelter and wanted to be a doctor until he found out he was too queasy. He cries at nature documentaries and sobbed when his nephew went home after staying with him. He’s soft, gentle, and so, so good.
He isn't someone who could love Donghun.

His curiosity had been spiked ever since he entered the casino and his eye fell on the man.“I’m the owner’s son. You could say I’m around here a lot,” the man answered.
His eyes swiftly scanned Donghun.
“I’m Park Junhee. Nice to meet you.” He held out his hand, decorated by a variety of silver rings.
“Likewise. I’m Lee Donghun.” Donghun gently shook it.“A royal flush, huh?” Donghun said with disbelief.
“I guess you’re my lucky charm.” Junhee sipped from his wine.“I thought you’d pull the badge on me sooner.”
Donghun almost, almost choked on his wine. He thought he had a good cover holding up.“Lee Donghun, age twenty-seven, born in Gyeonggi-do. A son and a brother. Why don’t you tell me why you’re really here?”
